I have always been fascinated with exposing the interior spaces of things. I specialised in Blown Glass forms for my final major project at University, I wanted to create pieces with an inside space that I could erode into. Allowing discussions of the passage of time, evolution and our own mortality.
In 2011 I completed the Hot Glass Techniques Course at Bournemouth and Poole College. Here I developed my blown work further by looking more into creating a sculptural form within a functional piece.
