Flamework

Mysterious and magical glass lends itself well to the creation of these fantastical beasts.
With a heart-shaped face, the barn owl is a distinctive and much-loved countryside bird. Poised and alert on a Bog Oak block this Barn owl has just caught a meal. I have designed the glass sculpture to be detachable from the base for cleaning and repositioning.
A smartly dressed black-and-white seabird with a huge, multicoloured beak, the Puffin is often called the clown of the sea. It can be seen nesting on clifftops and islands in northern England, Wales and Scotland. I have mounted this glass version on a Bog oak base. He is removable for cleaning and for moving.
