We’re delighted to be returning to show for a second year at this atmospheric venue. Situated in the High Weald, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Ardingly College will host Sussex Guild makers in the light and airy buildings of the Chapel and the Old Dining Hall, and classrooms in its famed 19th century Gothic style red brick building.
Built in the 1800s, Ardingly College is steeped in history and set in 250 acres of beautiful West Sussex countryside. The elegant quadrangle has wonderful views to the thirty-seven arches of the renowned Ouse Valley (or Balcombe) Viaduct.
Tickets at £4 will give entry for both Saturday and Sunday so you’ll have plenty of time to look at exquisite hand-made work and to talk to Guild makers whilst deciding what to purchase.
The College cafe will be open for light lunches and refreshments. Access is good and there will be clearly sign-posted parking around the site (including disabled) for those arriving by car.
Should you fancy a pub meal, Ardingly Village is a mile away. If you’re in the area for the weekend, Wakehurst is also nearby; managed by Kew Gardens and home to the Millennium Seed Bank, this wild botanic garden has over 500 acres of diverse landscapes and plants from across the globe.
