Uranium vessel represents the hidden pollution we create; glows under black light and sunrise/sunset, chained too its home the octopus unable to leave. The uranium in the Octopus, the contamination travels up the food chain; for what it consumes, we consume. 

Hinged lid allows the octopus to be placed within. Opening must be done carefully, like facing the past mistakes of our species where we had kept the lid closed.
