Increasing temperatures of our oceans causes micro-organisms within the coral to perish, this break in the symbiotic relationship results in the bleaching and eventual death of the corals.
The blown vessel represents the manmade problems that created the crisis and the solutions to it. The chain; how the corals are tied to what decisions we as a species make, the sandblasted glass shows us what we may lose and the anemone; what bio-diversity is supported by the reef and the hope its not lost.
